I'll my little bit to this.
I came to magicka myself with a little bit of attitude and ego if I'm honest with everyone. Slowly over time I realised that this place was infact a very open and caring environment. I've watched it grow and go from strength to strength.
Now I'll mention one of the things I hold dear to my heart in regards to magicka. I've started threads, other members have also done the same in regards to Christianity. What I saw in these threads was an amazing amount of understanding towards all faiths. I myself started life as a Christian, many of you have more than likely seen the article in the e-zine but I'll mention it here aswel. I was a devoted Christian with aspirations of becoming Clergy.
So you can understand how I would be so inspired by seeing the open nature here at magicka. I've had a few moments that have been shall we say colourful on the topic of Christianity, but after discussion it always ends well and comes out with all having greater understanding.
Now I know I've mentioned Christianity as an example, but the same goes for much of magicka. It does promote open discussion and also it cares greatly for its members.
All in all I can sum it up in this sentence 'Magicka is a haven for the open mind'.

I've not been a member long but I am truly amazed by the amount of information that I have learned. I was not new to the Craft but the more I talked to the people here and perused the courses, the more I realized I had to learn! No matter the question or thought, the people in the forum and chats respond kindly and are always willing to help you in any way that they can. I have just upgraded to Life member and I couldn't be happier with the amount of knowledge, lessons and materials that are provided. I am blessed to have found Magicka and it's wonderful members.
BB,
Jo

not sure my opinion can be useful after a scant few days only .......... but from what i've observed thus far
this seems to be a refreshingly open, non-judgemental and supportive environment where everyone is viewed primarily as an individual rather as a representative of any particular demograph
this is unusual enough to be remarkable - and commendable
i could go on - possibly will at a later date - but the above are my initial impressions
so i'll just say a grateful 'thank you' to Admins, Moderators Guides and Mentors all and fade back into the shadows

I've now been using the net for 7 years. In that time I've been part of many forums, chat groups and chat rooms. Magicka is the ONLY forum I have been to where you are accepted for who you are and made to feel a part of the family. There is something very special about this place.
And that's not even counting the wealth of information and the wonderful courses they offer.

I've been a part of several other Pagan forums, but Magicka School is truly Magickal...in every sense of the word. The forum is a wonderful place for learning and sharing...and the wide variety of boards make it easy to find exactly what you're looking for. The people are real treasures, from all walks of life...real global community and kinship, united under a common banner... Magicka School:D

When I first found Magicka School, I was a lone studier. I had been studying comparative religions for as long as I could remember and I had an interest in the supernatural, paranormal and the occult since the age of about 12.
It took me a long time to participate in the forums at all, but I did start right away with their free courses, within my first week I had decided I was becoming a life member.
This Samhain (Halloween) will be my 1st year anniversary since joining Magicka and beginning my studies in witchcraft in earnest. After this year and a day of study, with the help of Magicka, I finally feel proud and confident enough to call myself witch.
The biggest bonus for me now is that I have a community of friends from all over the world. Kind and caring people who are compassionate and search me out if I've not been around for a while.
If for some horrid reason the Magicka board were to disappear, then I personally would find a huge gap in my online life, but I would be eternally grateful for the stepping stone and support that Magicka has provided me with as well as the network of like minded people that I am now 'internetally' surrounded with.
Gods bless Magicka.

I love Magicka, I stumbled onto this site and now I know that it was more likely that I was pulled into it as I had come into a browsing list of multiple pagan sites and this was the only one that I did not delete without looking at, I simply opened it and in about 2minutes said to myself, "well there you are!" I have gained Knowledge and friendships and continue to learn something new or find something to smile about or a comment that is directed straight to my heart, even when it really isn't directed at me every day... the one short coming is that I DON'T feel that I offer enough back as yet so hopefully that will come with time.... I do have a question, where is the MySpace Magicka page and may I go to it?

When I joined magicka it was because it gave me a good feeling, it has helped me to become more creative in my wiccan crafts and I feel more inspired than I have in a long time. I now understand more about wicca and I love the fact that everyone is so friendly to me and they care about what you think. I feel more in control of my self too, the courses are great and I feel that I learn so much and that it helps me in my path. Magicka is great and I really love the fact that it is now a part of my life.
Brightest Blessings Maria
Ps: would be happy if you only used my first name if you post it!

I like that, Maria. Everyone should have a troll name.
Personally, I act like one frequently. LOL

Merry Meet,
Just wanted to drop a word of thanks to the school and all the staff and members. I have finished my beginner's Tarot lessons and had a 96 overall. Though I have not posted a research project in a while, I will be catching up on them and continuing my Wicca Revealed classes before moving on to the advanced Tarot course. I have learned so much and have had so much begin to change for me.
Thank you everyone . . .
Brightest Blessings,
Phil

Why not?
I began here at Magicka about 3 weeks ago. I looked through the site and decided upon a lifetime membership in the same day. Since then, I have been welcomed into this huge family. There is much peace and magick flowing here and not many people have thought that possible through a cyber site. Magick is here and is very loving between all.
I was practicing as a solitary and hit a brick wall to where all my library of books didn't speak to my heart anymore. I was at a standstill with my own growth. I began the Wicca Revealed and Beginner's Tarot courses here and have learned more about Wicca, magick and the Craft than I have on my own within the last 10 years. I am very excited to continue and see how this all works out for me.
