I thought it would be a good idea to find out what it is that we all enjoy doing most -- in the way of arts and crafts?

I picked something other. I love photography but I also love to dabble in many things. I just love being creative. For years I did oils because if you made a mistake you just kept going over it! lol Then I moved onto water paints and clay. I've tried fimo and would love to get into modelling clay (the plasticky type stuff, can't remember its name now).
I have also done jewellery making, scrapbooking, card making and even making skin care products is creative (though I wouldn't class it as art).
And I've dabbled at writing, poetry mostly, a long time ago.
Now, most of my "talents" go to webpage design. I'm in the process of trying to put up my own webpage with information on various things.
Oh and I'm just getting into sewing (bag making) and crochet.

I am into making my own cards, they are nice to send to family and close friends, for birthdays and christmas.
I have tried jewlery making and I really enjoyed doing it. Expensive to do, and I would not got chance to sell the items, so I dont do it.

It is almost too bad we can't 'check all that apply' lol I put jewelry because it is what I tend to spend the most time with. Wire links, and I have dabbled with wire designs as well, made a couple rings (simple, but cute), and Rosary beads for friends (sold a few too )as well as to donate to the local Catholic church.
I do love to crochet as well. I love making afgans, and every family member has at least one from me . I also like to make my own dishcloths with cotton yarn, they seem to last longer, bath mitts, hats mittens, and scarves for the kiddos.
I do enjoy cross stitch on winter evenings, and both my kids have a qilt made by their lovely Mum too
I also like to make beads with polymer clay. I am new at this, and I am sure that once the technique gets a bit better, I will be trying to make my own pendants and charms with metal clays as well.
I like to make my own paper, especially when I have a page for my Book of Shadows all nice and tidily planned out. And my daughter and I also wrap bars of glycerine soap with it for added charm.

i chose 3D art like woodworking as it relaxes me (except for the odd occasion when the knife slips) and helps me focus, but i also do alot of papercrafting and sewing (not very good at sewing though.) and also jewelry making.

I checked drawing because thats what I tend to do most - with pencil and pastels. But painting comes a close second - I used to use oils, but changed to acrylics because of time constraints on my zebras painting and have to admit that I'm a bit of a convert!
I love cross-stitching too and have done since I was a kid.

I chose "something other" because currently I split my time between jewelry making, crocheting, and coloring Tarot cards. I also enjoy needlepoint and when I was young (many years ago LOL) I used to draw and paint a lot but that sort of fell by the wayside. Over the years I've tried sewing, macrame, embroidery, custom fashion dolls, holiday ornaments, all sorts of stuff actually. Packrat that I am, I now have a garage full of odds and ends!

The only thing I don't do on the list is 3D work and drawing & painting. I don't do these things simply because I'm rubbish at them!

I posted other, but I work in:
Pastels (soft / hard / pencil) - this is my primary medium. I work with Windsor Newtons and I'm wanting to get some Schminke which is an expensive brand but the pigment brightness is really fantastic. I also work with Carbothello pastel pencils, though I prefer Mi Tientes (it's a cheaper range, but harder to find), and I work with Conte hard pastels. I love working with pastels, it's messy and takes up space, but I love it.
Drawing (fineliner / pencil / aquarelle) - I probably do the most drawings in this, particularly of all my totem pictures. I really really like ink and fineliner work, which means I go through a stupid amount of fineliners. A good brand water-proof fineliner (so I can watercolour over it) lasts me about two weeks! Not long enough. *cry*
Ceramics (terracotta) - this was my 'major' in highschool. I made masks most of the time, tribal masks in celebration of my heritage, and my Grandma has them all now. I really liked working in ceramics and when I move I will start again. One of the things I wanted to start making was ceramic pendants, because once fired they are quite light. I made my own pentacle out of terracotta and fired it.
I dabble in other areas like jewellery making (beading, primarily, my sister is far better at it than me though), and painting. I can't wait to explore more mediums when I move and have the space.

I play at jewelry making with simple things, now.
A long time ago I liked to draw and work with clay or paper, I painted a little, and did all sorts of sewing.
Now that I have more time I have painful hands and poor eyesight.
Life just isn't fair sometimes.

I picked other because there wasn't an All Of the Above option. I love getting into all kinds of arts and crafts. Currently I'm working on a pencil drawing for a painting that is going to be my masterpiece, I expect it will take a long time to complete but I have dedicated myself to pushing my limits and pulling out all the stops on this one. It is a painting of my Lady, Freyja. I'm also working on some divination boards, and a book, and a design for a pair of shoes, and photography and papercrafting my BOS, I usually have several projects running at the same time.

I agree that there should be a "All of the above" option!
I do it all, but lately I´ve used my sewing machine more and pottery less. I like to make my own anti-fashion clothes, bags, hats, and altering existing clothes.
I´m a junkie for buttons, lace, fabric and such. Second hand of course. People here in Sweden give away perfectly new and unused stuff for charity, neat and cheap for me. Always original. It´s most fun with vintage printed farics. Sometimes i make dresses from old curtains, like Maria in "Sound of music". I also sew medieval dress up costumes for my nices and nephews or for LARP or for rituals.
Next project will be a long dress in a cupper hue fabric wowen with golden roses in a sixties style, which I will wear for my older sisters 'doctoring' feast. It will then transform into a late medieval style dress by adding sleeves, belt, headwear and trims. If it turns out well it could even serve for wearing at handfastings and weddings. Even mine. I would never wear white for my own wedding! As if virginity was some treasured prize to humbly give the one true love. Makes me sick, that patriarchal opressive toxic tradition. But I do see how white is beautiful in a dress, why not wear white dresses for other occasions instead, Women!
