I am a craft-a-holic, with my latest addition being scrapbooking, so embellishments are definately in!! I add whatever feels right to me.
Do you write naturally, or does everything have to be in a special "neat" handwriting?

It has to be carefully written in fancy writing or printed in exciting text for me. I love making each page my own little work of art
Do you illustrate you BOS?

Yes, I include all sorts of illustrations in my BOS. Diagrams to explain things clearer, small images that are representative of the text on the page, even entire pages of art -- just as I include poetic inspiration and reflections I also include examples of visual art that are inspired by divinity and spirit. I’m a very visual person, and sometimes an images more clearly expresses, inspires, and informs.
As of this time, how many pages have you entered into your Book of Shadows?

i'm in the middle of condensing my BoS at the moment into one book. i have two completed books, so thats about 50 odd pages, but my new one only has about 30 done so far, but i haven't even touched on the old stuff yet!
will you hand your book of shadows to you son/daughter?

Definately. That was one of the reasons for taking some time and effort over each page - I want it to be an heirloom.
Do you use your BOS as a journal of your magickal experiences too?

No, my BOS and my journal of magical experiences are two totally different things. I do, however, make footnotes in my BOS that refer to my journal if there is a ritual or meditation that specifically correlates with a wonderful magickal experience that I had.
Do you have a title page so that you know exactly where each spell/meditation are listed, or is everything scattered throughout your BOS?

No I don't have a title page. I use a large loose leaf binder and before each section there is a thick page with a tab on it with the name for that section e.g. Rituals, Seasonal Rituals, Spells, etc.
Do you keep information on herbs and roots in your BOS or do keep the info in a separate book?

Educational.
If you knew that your BOS would last for a hundred years, would you want it to stay in your family even if they have no interest in it, or go to someone you don't know but would cherish it and pass it on to others for the knowledge?

I'd want it to go to someone who would cherish the knowledge, even if they weren't a decendant of mine.
Where do you keep you BOS? (I mean generally - i.e. on a bookshelf, locked up in a drawer, under the bed?)

I keep mine inside the cedar chest I use for my altar.
How strong a connection do you feel to your Book?

Very strong. It is part of me and my life, it's almost like there is an invisible connection between me and it.
If you see a ritual or spell in a book that you've bought that you really like, do you copy it into your BOS?

I do take inspiration from things I see in books ect, but wherever possible I try and use it to create something of my own.
What is your favourite page in your BOS?

My fave page so far (its still newish) is the front page. I had some ideas of what I wanted and haven't changed that page since my BOS was started.
What would you like to change? and why?

What I would like to change and am working on, is getting my correspondences section as in depth and all-inclusive as possible. I'm a bit obsessed and a definite glutton for punishment, I know!!
What sources do you use for the majority of your information?
