I don't know how or why I stumbled into this site, perhaps I was seeking a free astrology reading or something (<guffaw> no such thing as a free lunch!) but stumble into it I did. I made the "ngwah" noise(translates to "oh please") and then something grabbed me, and it wasn't a demon hand dragging me through the monitor. It was the professionalism, presentation and then the content of the first few pages, that screamed This Is "Real".

Down the rabbit hole I went, drawn further and further into a world I'd barely dipped a toe into before, for what ever reason, I had denied it. The longer I spend here the more I contemplate everything I thought I knew, and everything I realised I didn't. Allthough I am still in the corridor peering through the key holes of all the doors, I am loving this adventure. I do not mean to sound patronising and I hope that my words are not read this way. The ultimate adventure, is the ultimate compliment in my view, as this is what I am always seeking. To others the ultimate joy could well be soothing comfort and a feeling of coming home, to some like me it is the exhiliration and thrill of finding and exploring new shores.

I was never raised a christian, though my mother gave us a good grounding education in order to best understand the society in which we lived. Spirituality never centered around a divine, though there was awareness of energy, without deity. In saying that it is hard to describe the values, and customs I grew up with and hold now - but they do slide easily and freely into withcraft, wicca or whichever. perhaps I even read it on this site, that to study the Tarot only from an intellectual view is to deny at least half its purpose.

I continue with the courses and love it. Where to from here? I barely know. What I do know is that now I have a structure in which I can place my views of spirituality, and more importantly am able to pass this onto my daughter in a more structured and coherent way, as opposed to ignoring spirituality all together for lack of words, or a language in which to articulate it. For this I am thankful in a way in which I have never been.

I admire and applaud the free courses that are available here. I agree, now, that all have the right to spirituality and the education therein. There is a world view on this site which surpases the cranks and crooks and quacks out there, certainly this is what most are in comparison. There is a future view here that looks past today and tomorrow, onwards beyond generations. This education, found here, is a foundation stone.

Congratulations to each and every member for the integrity of this site.

Hi,

I like that, you made me laugh (guffaw :D ). I feel the same as you but never posted a testimonial as I can't think where to begin.

Yours is good so I'll add here.

'this is what Freyja thinks too' :D :D :D

:D I'm not usually the type to post testimonials... and I agree... if I'd waited a moment longer a beginning place would have been tres hard to find!

Merry Meet Logorhea,

Since I can't improve on your post and it articulates my feelings exactly. I got here through a paranormal site that I had just joined because of some "visitations" for the first time ever. I truly believe my path here was not an accident. Joining the school and Wicca has changed my life forever.

Plainly put, I love this place!

Love and light,

LadyLucinda

I totally agree. Although mine was web browsing it led my path here and this is the place I have felt comfortable since.
I love the people and the diversity.
