it has a wide range of uses. Depends on the song and how much power is put in it.

Raymond Bucklands complete book of witchcraft gave a variation of the energy giving one. Also Psychic Pathways not sure the other is the energy ball.

I haven't actually tried any of these yet, but I kinda envy you because of all of the people who are influencing you. I'm the first in my entire family and it sucks a bit. Maybe someday the universe will realize what it's missing :all hail pino:

Can you tell us more about Amaretsu and Tsuki-Yumi?

I googled both, all it came up with was Naruto... There was another spelling of Tsuki-Yumi, but it wasn't close enough to be phonetic spelling.

It is Japanese and is actually yumi-tsuki in the Japanese to English translation:
http://www.eudict.com/?lang=japeng&word=yumi%20tsuki
Tsukuyomi (ツクヨミ also known as Tsukuyomi-no-kami), is the moon god in Shinto and Japanese mythology
wiki gives us this  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto
it is also found under girls names and here are some of the associations given
http://babynames.merschat.com/index.cgi ... _key=32708

Amaterasu: Goddess of the Japanese Sun  http://community-2.webtv.net/Toomuwik/Amaterasu/
and wiki  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amaterasu_Omikami

A better understanding can be found in understanding a bit of Japanese mythology:
a brief  http://www.paralumun.com/mythjapan.htm
and wiki  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_mythology

As Izanagi purified himself from his decent from Yomi and dropped the adornments from his body creating deities, the three most important ones were created as he washed his face:
Amaterasu (incarnation of the sun) from his left eye,
Tsukuyomi (incarnation of the moon) from his right eye, and
Susanoo (incarnation of storms and ruler of the sea and storms) from his nose.

A list of Japanese deities  http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/names/godsjapanese.htm

I do believe Shadowprinceraven that if it is the intent to help our fellow students, a more clarified explanation bringing a better understanding and a small sampling of sources should be provided ~ and with that in mind, I hope this post does just that. :miss purple:

Thank you kindly and yes. I will explain what I know personally. Amaretsu is the japanese sun goddess based in shinto. Shinto is about the purity of being and kami. Kami are the spirits that inhabit nature. Tsuki-Yumi is the moon god of the same. They came to me in a meditation session. Other then this I dont know much else. They are good teachers though.

You know what's sad? I actually have heard of the Sun Goddess/Moon God of Japan, but I can never remember their freakin' names. Wasn't there a myth at one point where the imperial family was supposed to have descended from the sun goddess?

I did some research and I think where I have heard the name Tsuki-Yumi was from an episode of Inu Yasha (with the Ken/Kon Naginata). Yes, I am that sadly dorky. :lmao: I do watch Naruto, too, on occasion so it's not so far off, Dancing Turtle.
