I've been trying to work with crystals for quite a while now and still have troubles at times with some stones,,,,I have a couple of books on gemstones as well as a gemstone guide from a wholesaler to help identify them but I have found that my very best resource has been Healing Crystals to help identify stones ~ If you don't have books or the ones you do have are not showing pictures well enough to help you then this is the place to check out as most of their pictures you can zoom into for a better look: http://www.healingcrystals.com/ from what I can tell in the pictures my guess would be that the pink one is rhodochrosite - check against this link: http://www.healingcrystals.com/Tumbled_Rhodochrosite__Extra__-_Tumbled_Stones.html or red aventurine - check against this link: http://www.healingcrystals.com/Tumbled_Red_Aventurine_-_Tumbled_Stones.html or possibly a rose quartz if it is translucent,,,the black one definately looks like a snowflake obsidian - here's that link: http://www.healingcrystals.com/Tumbled_Snowflake_Obsidian_-_Tumbled_Stones.html and I can not tell what the blue one is because of the lighting in the picture. I can tell you it is definately not a lapis lazuli (one of my favorites & staples of my collection) as the coloring/pattern does not appear common to lapis lazuli. As to it being a sodalite, again the coloring/pattern do not appear common to sodalite as both lapis and sodalite are opaque stones and the picture makes it appear to be translucent or more common to the pattern of blue aventurine - they do not picture any tumbled stones but they do picture a pyramid - check this link: http://www.healingcrystals.com/Pyramid_-_Blue_Aventurine_Crystal_Pyramids.html or possibly a blue quartz - check this link:http://www.healingcrystals.com/Tumbled_Blue_Quartz__Brazil__-_Tumbled_Stones.html
That's my two cents Hope it helps some,,,,
Blessings, Silver Firelite

Forgot to add that I also believe that the first stone is an Ocean Jasper and as to the pink one being a carnelian, keep in mind that carnelians tend to run to the colors of orange and not pink.

Blessings, Silver Firelite Oh, I meant a completely different stone from what's in the pics. And thank you for all your input!

I noticed that when I went back and reread previous posts!! My bad
But it is a good bump on this topic as we might get willow~moon to pop up with her opinions as she is very knowledgeable.

Greetings, MoonkissedWolf & Silver Firelite. Are you debating the following? Lovely Stone! At first glance, it looks like Black Agate but there are feelings of chalcedony here - so it's probably Black Onyx. (Don't be put off by those beautiful markings in this respect). Blessings! willow~moon (P.S. I do declare, Silver Firelite, you made me blush...but thank you for your vote of confidence x)

I was thinking it looked similar to my obsidian except for the spots. But Onyx seems right. Thank you!
