Hey guys! Last night I was reading this book called "The Elemental Encyclopedia of 1000 Spells" and I came across the magickal tools section, finding the Charm Bag.
I grabbed some leather, tape and a marker and whipped this up:

Is this cool or what??? I did the 'Drop a match and spit' ritual, and now I need something to do with it! If anyone knows, please leave a message! I hope I inspire someone, and I don't hope I bragged to much! :all hail pino:

I have two - one in a black bag and another in a red. It has different items in them. One (red) is a miniature substition to the ordinary ritual tools and the other has correspondences to the elements. I don't call them mojo bags but it is similar. :hat: :tree:

Technically you have a Spell Bag not a Mojo Bag :) A mojo traditionally does not have Theban Script. Theban Script is a Wiccan aspect and Hoodoo is not associated with Wicca.

My question is why would you create a Mojo Bag without having your intent in place already?

Honestly, I don't know much, and I just decided I would make it. And besides... it's just a name! Right now I am using it as a money charm. I put in some dandelions and a few other flowers and a magnetic WWII penny to "attract" money, hehe...

Do you know any more practical uses? :what:

It is 'not' just a name. A Mojo Bag is what it is. A Mojo Bag and it has specific dynamics that honor where it stems from and that is the Practice of Hoodoo and to say that it is 'just' a name honestly is a bit disrespectful. I'm not saying you are meaning to be disrespectful but I am saying that nothing is ever 'just' a name.

Well Money is a practical use isn't it :) Usually you don't change the ingredients in your bag that you create but create a new bag with new ingredients and new intent. What do you have a need for? Start with that.
