Alexandrian Wicca
Alexandrian Wicca was founded by Alex and Maxine Sanders in the 1960’s in the United Kingdom, and is a very popular tradition since the resurgence of modern Paganism. The tradition is similar, and partially based upon Gardnerian Wicca – Alex Saunders was a first degree initiate, initiated by Pat Kopanski. Alexandrians define Wicca as a Pagan mystery faith that it initiatory (like Gardnerian Wicca), oath bound and experimental in nature. The name "Alexandrian" is generally viewed by the Initiates of the Tradition as a reference to the "founder, " Alex Sanders himself, as well as a reference to the Great Library of Alexandria, which was the center of Occult knowledge in the ancient world. Maxine Sanders said that the name ‘Alexandrians’ was chosen when Stewart Farrar was writing What Witches Do: "Stewart asked what Witches who were initiated via our Covens should be called; after much discussion, he came up with "Alexandrian" which both Alex and I rather liked. Before this time we were very happy to be called Witches".
Alexandrian Wicca is practised outside of Britain – in places such as Canada and the United States. Similar to other Wiccan traditions, Alexandrian Wicca emphasizes gender polarity, seen in the Sabbat rituals, where they focus on the relationship between the Goddess and God. Ceremonial magic practices, such as Enochian magic are used in rituals, but not all Alexandrians do – some don’t. Some Alexandrians are strongly oriented towards ceremonial magic, while others are more oriented towards folk magic. Training has always been a hallmark of the Alexandrian Tradition, with each new generation adding onto the previous generation's knowledge, making for more informed and well rounded Priest/esses and Witches.
Traditionally, Alexandrians work with the Old Gods of Europe and worship them, such as the Horned One. They aim for an understanding of deity and ancestry and they believe in the power of magic, and use both traditional and experimental techniques. The Alexandrian Tradition is organized into covens. Some groups work skyclad while others prefer to work robed. Regardless of personal coven preference, certain rites are performed skyclad by all recognized Alexandrian covens. The Alexandrian tradition also uses degrees of initiation like Gardnerian Wicca, and they believe that “only a witch can make another witch”, so only a second or third degree witch can initiate someone into witchcraft, and only a third degree witch can initiate someone into the third degree. Some Alexandrians have instituted a preliminary rank called "neophyte" or "dedicant." In these Alexandrian covens, a neophyte is not bound by the oaths taken by initiates, so they can get an opportunity to examine the tradition before committing to it.

Amaterasu:
Amaterasu is the Japanese Shinto sun goddess, ruler of the Plain of Heaven, whose name means 'shining heaven' or 'she who shines in the heavens'. She was so bright and radiant that her parents sent her up the Celestial Ladder to heaven, where she has ruled ever since.
When her brother, the storm-god Susanowa, ravaged the earth she retreated to a cave because he was so noisy. She closed the cave with a large boulder. Her disappearance deprived the world of light and life. Demons ruled the earth. The other gods used everything in their power to lure her out, but to no avail. Finally it was Uzume who succeeded. The laughter of the gods when they watched her comical dances aroused Amaterasu's curiosity. When she emerged from her cave a streak of light escaped (nowadays people call it sunrise). The goddess then saw her own brilliant reflection in a mirror which Uzume had hung in a nearby tree. When she drew closer for a better look, the gods grabbed her and pulled her out of the cave. She returned to the sky, and brought light back into the world. She then also created rice fields, the art of weaving and taught the people of the earth how to cultivate wheat.

Thoth is the Egyptian God of Wisdom, and so has the head of an Ibis. This is because the Ibis was seen as a symbol of wisdom, it's long and curved beak is used for searching in the mud for small fish, resembling a pen dipping in ink. Thoth was very important in Ancient Egyptian mythology. He oversaw three battles between Ra and Apep, Heru-Bekhutet and Set and Horus and Set. In each of these battles, Thoth would heal anybody that was seriously injured, so that one opponent could not overtake the other. He is also beleived to be responsible for the 365 day year, gambling with the moon for and extra 5 days of light, allowing Nut to have children.
Aleister Crowley's book on the Tarot is called: The Book of Thoth: A Short Essay on the Tarot of the Egyptians.

Thankyou :)
Well, I looked through the text provided with the course, and picked out relevant bits and pieces, I use google sometimes, but if you look on a load of different sites, they tend to contradict each other sometimes. I also have a couple of books on Gods and Goddesses, so I used those too. Then I just typed everything up in my own words. If that's what you mean.

I type it up on word, and then I copy and paste it, just incase I accidentally clicked back or refresh on my browser! :)
