As Wicca is a nature religion i thought it would be interesting to see what your favourite types of animal are. You can choose two.
Mine would be-
1-Reptiles, which i think are beautiful, mysterious and fascinating creatures, some of which are greatly misunderstood, feared and often treated badly as a result (sorry, had to sneak this in - http://www.petitiononline.com/roundups/).
2-Mammals, Nothing like a hug with your dog or cat when your feeling down.

I chose mammals and reptiles gotta love the cat and dogs (just not the dog here lol) but i am a HUGE snake lover also and cant wait to own one again

Amphibians. Love froggies. It was a tossup for the other one. I love lizards. Have since I was little, skinks and blue tongues. Le sigh. But mammals had to be my other pick. I'm a cat girl at heart.  _________________  Currently modless

I chose Mammals 'cause I love my cats and I loved my dogs when I was growing up.
I chose Birds 'cuase I love to watch the birds in the winter and spring. I also love Eagles.

Im a cat lover, and i use to keep birds, obviously i cant have both together as my cat would probably terrify the bird.
My Mom would leave if i brought a snake in here, but i like them too, then again i couldn't feed it a mouse, that would just kill me, just going to buy one, knowing im going to use it for food would kill me.
So i really love all Mother Natures creatures, but i just have a cat, he's all i need.

No contest I'm afraid, birds and mammals.
I love watching the birds that come into my garden and feed or use the pond as their bath. I also love watching the local buzzards soaring over the hills.
As for the mammals well , aswell as being a dog fan, I have a huge soft spot for Orang utans ( hence the profile pic). When I was little I had my photo taken with a baby one and my hair colour was exactly the same as it's hair. I've been reminded about that all my life by my family. LOL

I love cats but for some reason they see me coming and either run away or always seem unimpressed when I try and talk to them...I mean if a black cat decides to run away from me before even considering my path what does that mean for me   ? I actually like looking at the big cats and there is something about wolves that is magical and awe-inspiring. I keep coming acorss feathers all the time now but do like birds. I've actually taken to liking snakes recently but there were only 2 options-I want to learn more about snake medicine one day...

1. Mammals is my first vote with Birds a close second...Owls is a very a close toss up to me as I love tigers. I may not own either of them; but I have a very close sense to both. I own a cat though so I chose mammal first. I did own a bird too, but he passed:( a over a year ago.

I always dreamed that i could fly so i chose a bird and i'v always loevd frogs so i chose amphibians aswell.  _________________     please I need you to click them so they will hatch I change my Avatar Daily so it's different. Have a look.[/color]

After looking after a friends snake while she was away on holiday, I must say that I love reptiles, but I do like some mammals and birds. I will always love cats and dogs, but I lvoe the vibrantly coloured specied of birds you can get.

Mammals and birds for me. I have a cat, Keiko is her name. She was born at my parents' house and though she had a wonderful mother, she was malnourished and I feared she would die if I didn't do something, so I brought her inside and hand fed her moistened dry cat food. She'd go back outside for her mama to take care of her, until one day I felt she was old enough to be separated from her mama and I brought her in for good.
She's been my "baby" ever since. She doesn't like other cats much, and absolutely does Not like strangers in her space! She puts up with the cats of the ex-girlfriend of the person we're living with, but just barely, though she seems to like his cat, which is a big male who pays her little attention anyway.
At one time, I thought Keiko might be my familiar, but I'm not so sure of that right now. I'll have to watch her a bit more closely to really be able to tell.
I chose birds because I love watching them. I'd love to get one of the "talking" kinds of birds one day, but that will have to wait until I'm more financially stable and can afford upkeep.

I chose mammals and reptiles aswell!! Mainly because i am in love with my pet cat Cleo She is beautiful and my closest animal friend. And i have always had a fasincation with reptiles and they are remarkable creatures.

my first choice are mammals because i love my dogs and cats. my second choice is birds because i love my chickens and muscovy ducks.  but reptiles come in a close third.
