Well, maybe ... but I got the basic idea ... sit up straight or you'll rob your body of all the good stuff you put into it.

Thank you very much for the valuable info. I am making it habbit now to chekc my posture. I didnt realize it was so bad. I am brething better already. and meditations are MUCH easier.

I love this information. I came across it just in time. I am one that has suffered from scoliosis for so long and I a min physical therapy now for my neck and shoulders. The doc told me today that because I am in school and dealing with computers now I have to be EXTRA careful about my posture.
I am NOT allowed to use "messenger" style bags and must buy an ergonomic style back pack to carry any textbooks. I also can't be carrying around a heavy pocketbook/purse/bag when I am out about town or shopping. I need to tailor down my daily needs for the day.
I have noticed about my shoes as well making my posture so bad and even .. I didn't realize that I could break or damage my toes just by wearing a pair of heels and walking around for the day.
I am so glad that I came across Mathew's posts and now I will do my exercises every day this month of October and see how much better my body feels.

Great job Mathew with your essay's. Being a dancer, good posture is a must, and now that I stopped dancing, I can feel a huge difference.
Luckily enough I will start taking technique classes again this Winter, and stretch out my spine again.
It really makes a difference.
