Morgane suggested I post the celtic message cards here. These are very interesting message cards. They can be used for daily affirmations. Or for readings. Now I have a new found interest in celtic lore.
Celtics love for earth and nature.
Not only are they beautiful cards. There is a lot to learn about ourselves or others. And how we should all protect our earth from terrible outcomes.
I believe these cards are not only great for beginners . But also great for those that have been doing this for many years.

Have you used them for divination? If so, would you please let me know what you think of them for that. Do you ask a question then pull one of the cards out of the deck or do you actually do a layout like, for instance, the Celtic Cross spread which is one of the most widely used spreads. The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to know if I could use them for my clients.

Briganta, he HAS used them and absolutely loves them, but I will let him tell you more about them. Right now, I'm trying to get him to put them down long enough to make some pics of some of the individual cards and post them in this thread! He's all immersed in them - even I can't get his attention!

Text is by Joules Taylor. The design and Illustration is by CICO Books.
I bought this Deck at Chapters book store. It was the last one there.
It is a 52 card deck.
In my opinion these cards are excellant for divination. Excellant for past present and future. To make choices in life. for yourself or others. Divination whether you will have a good day. Divination if you want to know how someone is feeling or doing. Also has 7 day spread. personal and private desires. If a person feels upset or threatened, divination to find out what is best to do. spread for the coming year.
It has several different spreads in the book. The Triquettra,The Mistletoe,The sheild Knot,The cauldronThe triskele,The Sheild,The solar wheel,,The tree Of Life, Threading the Maze,The endless Knot
Excellant for yourself or to read for others.
It comes with a book. Which contains all the meanings and what they represnt to the celtics. In my opinion very well written and easy to use for affirmations and divination for others or yourself.
I took the liberty of taking some pictures of some of the cards to show you the artwork. The cards are very glossy.
I will post them as sonn has I edit them and load them on photobucket.

Thanks, Morgane.......he sounds like me when I get something new that I like, lol.

And thank you Wicked Sky, for showing us some of the cards and letting us know about how they work. I think next time I'm in Chapters if they don't have them I'll get them to order them for me and give them a try. Sometimes a change of decks is refreshing and gives new insights to current issues.

I love Celtic mythology and their stories, to me the ancient Celts were an amazing people.

I think it's good to work with more than one deck. I can easily see myself accumulating quite the collection!

I see the oracle cards as being totally different from the tarot cards, so I'm working with both.

WickedSky has another oracle deck that is really nice, but he seems drawn to the Celtic one more!

It's all about what speaks to us...

i use the celtic message cards too.

I found them really easy to interperate and I'm a complete divination beginer!

The illustrations are beautful and its lovely that there are affirmations printed on the cards.

I've not done a spread yet, I just think of a question or situation or whatever I'm wanting a little insight on and shuffel the deck. So far a card has always fallen out and i read that one.

I'd highly recommend them.
