Some tips on adding your dreams:
*Describe ll the major elements you remember.
*Describe your feelings about each of them.
*Describe your relationship to people in your dreams (i.e. mother, friend, so on...)
Dream Title:
Dream Date:
List any elements that occurred in the dream.
Is it recurring?
Did it occur in the past, present, future, or all of them?
Were you in control?
Was it cohesive, linear, disjointed?
What emotions did it illicit?
What would classify the dream as?
Was anything in color & what were the colors?

Thank you
Another thing I would add is
Was anything in color & what were the colors?
I hope it was ok to add this.. You really had a great one and do not wish to step on anyones toes...

I loved the points you reminded to outline, and color (or lack there of) can be an important psychological statement in your dreams, one that should not be ignored! A recurring dream that is always in color suddenly falling to black and white should be noted.

Wow, this is great. This helps me out a lot. But I do have one question, I'm not sure what you are asking with the question 'what would classify the dream as?'
So far my recounting of my dreams have just been ramblings of what I can remember about the the dream at the time. More disjointed thoughts, than anything else. This will help me remember other parts that I might have forgotten as well as organize my thoughts. Thanks a lot.

Oh and I forgot to add that this format can be used for keeping track of meditations as well.

Classify.... What type would be? Nightmare, flashback, etc... In other words, what would call it.

Should we keep an account of all the dreams we have each day, even when we can't remember very much?

These are great suggestions on dreams. I really need to write mine down, and share them so that I can maybe understand what they mean. minus the sex dreams of course. lol

I just recently started keeping a dream journal online. The site I use is: http://dreamjournal.net/
It includes many of the facets mentioned such as: is the dream recurring, was it cohesive, etc. It's worth checking out if you prefer using the computer to paper and pen.
