I'm wanting to put something in my Book Of Shadows about the Moon Phases, anyone have any Ideas what I should include? And does anyone know any good sites to find good information about Moon Phases and the moon's relation to Wicca? I'm getting most of my information out of my many books that I have but I would also like other peoples experiences and knowledge on the matter. Hope it's not asking too much. Thanks

To most in the Craft, the moon and her phases are integral. Most worship at or near the full moon. Some worship also at the dark moon. And fewer still worship at the quarters. The Charge calls us to come togehter "once and month and better it be when the moon is full".

To most in Wicca, the moon relates to the Goddessa nd her phaases. This is the Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Although some say that the drak moon represents a fourth "hidden" feace of her.

Most Wiccan sites will have information on these subjects. I hope you find what you are looking for.

The moon is also important for works of magick. If you are working to bring something to you, you would work on the waxing phase of the moon. When you are trying to release something you would work on the waning moon.

The full moon can be used for the completion of a project. You can work for health, knowledge, protection or psychic power among other things on the full moon.
