This is awesome! I seem to draw spirits to me these days, but I feel them more often than I actually see them. Of course I believe in them! Otherwise, there would still be a lot of things needing explanations from my childhood and present. As for being afraid, not so much anymore. Unless I feel threatened. Then my husband gets to take care of them.  I wish I could ghost hunt with you Elia! Sometimes I do a little GH myself. Have a tape recorder and emf. Seen plenty in my lifetime. I love it but sometimes they feel bad thats when I do a cleansing lol

I have a digital recorder, EMF meter, camera, camcorder, and I just bought a Ghost Box. The Ghost Box works using white noise from radio frequency's, ive been using that on AM and reverse mood, that way there is no way of hearing a sentence or even a word from the radio. So far ive gotten one word "death" and it said it like de tha. It was really plain & cool!!
Ive done a lot of investigations with a local group, im not afraid to go anywhere, anytime, anyplace. As a matter of fact id usually be the one left in the spookiest rooms. Our group has had some really good EVP's and pictures.
I wish I could afford more equipment, and do it full time!!

I do believe in ghosts, I'm not afraid of them, I've never seen one but I have seen orbs!

MM I LOVE this thread!! I have been a paranormal investigator for about 10 yrs (although not full time unfortunately!) I have a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Parapsychology! Shadow People
Shadow people are very dangerous entities, they can cause harm to the elderly, actually draining the life from them over time. They also like to convince children to do harm to themselves.
No one knows where they come from or how to get rid of them, they are nasty.
But if you have a known portal, that can be closed. I would think you would need a Psychic Medium to even find out if its a Shadow person, and to find the portal.
These are definitely something you would not want in your home.
Any thoughts, or experiences. open for dissussion.

Yes I believe, yes I have seen them and I respect them..wouldn't say feared.
My sister is a medium although she doesnt freely broadcast it and we have both seen beings from the spirit world on many occasions. I dont have the gift as she does, I feel and hear rather than see. I also see beings in the shadows...these are different and I feel menacing,

Speaking of Ghost Hunting. I watched one of the new episodes of Ghost Hunters and was so impressed with their clear EVPs. Makes me want to spend some of my preciously hoarded money on some tapes for my recorder!
Has anyone recorded any amazing EVPs? I'd like to hear about those experiences if there are any.

If you really want some action watch the Ghost Adventures show on Travel channel, They always get the best evidence. They play it back on the spot so no music, and no big reveal, just great EVP's and video.
I like Ghost Hunters too, but after watching GAC I swiched.
