I am Empathic and what I call a minor clairvoyant. About 2 years ago I went to The Colonial Inn, in Concord, MA. Being built in 1716, there is a lot of activity at this spot. I went with 2 other friends who also have abilities. As soon as we went to the oldest bedroom in the building we ALL picked up a woman being in there with us. We were all overcome with a bad feeling towards a man that was also with us in this room. After this we left and did not stay. We never really did any investigating on this matter afterward.
Anyone who has an ability will probably understand what i'm about to say. You know when you see or hear something and you think to yourself, did that really just happen or was it just my imagination playing tricks with me?
Well i also felt this way and second guessed myself. Yesterday I watched an episode of a show that took a trip to the Colonial Inn. They visited the same room, and when they entered the room they felt the presence of an older woman. As they moved around the room a bit they were overcome with a tense feeling of a man whom was not nice.
What I did not mention was that when we took this trip we felt the presence of the man in the back corner near a closet, the same exact spot the people in the show did.
2 of the psychics had sensed that the older woman was sick and laying bed. The man however was her doctor. A strong toned man, aggresive and a rapist.
Hearing them talk about what they saw in this room made chills go through my spine and my hands tingle. I have to learn not to second guess my abilities and have better self confidence in myself.
This is my story i thought it would be nice to share since I dont have many friends I can talk to about it since I moved out of Massachusetts to New Jersey. I have since stopped speaking to the friends I had visited the Inn with due to the long distance and loss of contact.

Greetings LadyAmara, It is very nice when you are validated in your feelings by a second party. I think we should always trust our gut feelings (instincts) and not let them be overriden by our minds. I had a similar experience when I visited an old house that my sister in law had just bought. We walked into a small room off the kitchen and I just said "Someone died in here. I feel they are still here." Marion told me that indeed an old friend of the family had died in that room and she had bought the house because it brought back such pleasant memories of her childhood. I think I saw the TV Show you were refering to. I would not like to meet a nasty spirit.

it was psychic kids: children of the paranormal.
Yes i agree with you on our gut instincts. This was around the time i staryed to really open my self up to feel other energies.
Yes nasty spirits give you this overwhelming sense. its not a good feeling

I think we've all had second thoughts on what we've seen or felt but it's so nice when we get validation.

Merry Meet LadyAmara
I understand what you are saying. No doubt sixth sense exists. Because they are rare, unpredictable and not often repeatable at will, these are classified as mere figments of one’s imagination or at best coincidences, or merely anomalous events.
