Did you know that you don't have to be a moderator to host your own chat?
If you are interested in hosting a chat please post your proposal here. Tell us about your ideas and include the following information:
Chat topic?
Prefered date?
Prefered time?
Ask anything you like about how to organise a chat, don't worry, I'll be there to help along the way. I'll give you info about how to plan and conduct a chat too.

You don't have to be planning a specific chat to post here. There's absolutely no obligation to host chats. Maybe you've done this sort of thing on another website and would just like to offer us some advice? All comments and suggestions are welcome.
Its quite a new area for us too so we're sort of all learning together. I think we can safely say that we're having good fun with it.

Sure.
What about a chat on a singular herb? It might give a good insight on what to use that herb for on many different levels, give each other ideas to broaden our own horizons, etc.
A poll could be presented to determine which herb is covered first as well as who might be interested in attending.
I've done this once before with Basil, and it was pretty fun. It started out in Herbs Forum and went over to the chat room after a few weeks of looking into the herb and it's uses as well as how to grow it, history and lore, etc.. It might be a fun one to do again?

If you would like to host a herb chat then please do
Just let me know date/time etc and I'll set up an announcement for you here. I remember the Basil chat and it was very informative and interesting, so it would be good to see another.
If you want to put a poll up, please feel free to do so also.

Groovy.
How about Saturday November 7th at 11am CST if we've got any takers.
I'll put up a poll with a few different herbs here in a second to run for a week. It'll give time for people to vote, then another two weeks for folks to do a bit of research before the chat.
