Avatar: Personalised picture just below your screen name in your posts.
Bandwidth: The amount of data that can be passed along a communications channel ie a phoneline in a given period of time.
BBcode: coding that allows for special effects on forums.
Board: A name for each of the categories on the forum eg The Witches Moot.
Emoticon: Another name for a smiley or
Font: the style and type of text used.
HTML: Hyper Text Mark Up Language: similar to bbcode, but for web pages rather than forums.
Hyperlink/link: you click on one and it takes you to another web page.
Inbox: Where messages received are stored.
Outbox: Where copies of messages you have sent to people are stored.
Pixel: The smallest part of a picture that is displayed on a television, computer screen or other screens.
PM/Private Message: Messages between 2 members that only you can see.
Post:each individual reply you make on the forum.
Profile: The things you add to your Magicka account to make it more personalised.
Savebox: Where you can keep Private Messages received and save them.
Signature Tag (Sigtag): A graphic designed to display your name and various other things.
Tags: the parts of bbcode and HTML that create the special effects.
Thread: A post with replies.
Tweaks: Things you can change in your posts to make them look better ie font colour or size.
Upload: Something like a file of picture when it is taken for your computer and added somwhere else, usually on the internet ie to upload a picture to photobucket.
URL: Uniform Resource Locator, the technical name for a web address.
