I have heard many people refer to parts of the craft as the left hand or the dark side. Why? Is it not true that even though you might be right handed Is not the left hand the support. Do we not need the dark to see the beauty of the sun along with the moon and the stars. Does not the dark have its own value. My understanding is you need to see it all to love it all.

I hope this does not sound too corney or philisophical it was just what i was thinking about after reading a many of the posts on this thread.

It makes perfect sense to me! :D

That's how I feel - you can't deny the dark and only embrace the light *all* of the time. Well I say 'you', but everyone is entitled to do what they like - it's just my personal belief that it creates imbalance to focus too directly on 'the light' or 'the dark' all of the time.

Hello all, I would like to ask the Pope why the church keeps protecting and shielding the pedophile priests. And also why they choose only the parts of the bible they want you to believe in. I was raised Catholic and finally nearly 50 years ago realized all the mis-information I was taught. I always thought of myself as more of a Wicca persuasion. Although I didn't even know about that path back then. I don't hold the faithful worshippers of Catholisim at fault. Anyone is free to practise what they truely believa in. It's the Church I disdain. So....Pope...what's the deal???? Just my thoughts on this. LOL Bledded Be JD

For Christians: Why did God deem Witchcraft a sin? If he did not, then why do many believe it to -be- a sin?

Question to people who have "mother earth/nature worship/Gaia" religions:

How do you reconcile the good parts of nature with the brutal [say animals eat other animals] and the lethal [say diseases such as Cat flu] ?

A.) Torey is amazing
He answered the question about Satan so well. That question actually got me fired up and his answer calmed me down.
2.) I would ask the Muslims that blow themselves up with stuff: How are those virgins? was it all worth it?

When I was going to a southern Baptist church people would always tell me that they were bad Christians. I would ask why they felt that way and they would tell me all of their "horrible" wrongdoings. I would tell them the bible only asks you to do two things: Love Jesus and tell other people about him. What do you do when you love something? you talk about it right? So if you love Jesus, your going to tell other people about him. As long as your not drunk or having sex when you talk about him you'll be fine.
I know, it's a bit crude. Maybe that's why Christianity never stuck?

I work at Waffle House in the bible belt, teehee. On sunday Morning around 11:30 we start getting the church crowd. My favorite question to ask when the customer gets done announcing that they just had church at the best church ever built is: what was the sermon/service about? ahhh how I love the blank stares I get!

I would think that one would have to come to terms with 'the way things are'. It's all in the perception - who defines what is 'good' and what is 'brutal'. Humans are no different - we just pack our animals into trucks and have someone else kill them for us at the killing plant.

As for diseases, humans, animals and plants and trees can all contract disease.

I would have to say we can't really it depends on the persons perspective on things. I personally believe nature itself is a big cycle of on going life. So yes that animal gets eaten but somewhere else that same type of species/animal group is being born somewhere else in the world thats why some animals give birth in winter and others give birth in springe to keep the animal poppulation from decreasing so much in that specific group. I personally believe nature is very balanced and takes its own courses when it starts getting unbalanced causing disease outbreaks in some areas and even sometimes a nateral disaster occurrs somewhere else to keep that balance. So really I believe everything happens for a reason even if it is bad it could be good for all we know it can be a new chapter of life/new beginning.

As for disease briganta is right it can happen to anyone even plants get diseases.

I would probably ask the Mormons to explain a little more about their beliefs. It's so far-fetched and it seems to me like a random guy made up a bunch of stuff and everyone jumped on the bandwagon (wait, that could be any religion, really). I have nothing against Mormons though. They have family figured out. Some of the happiest, kindest people I have ever met, if a little strange. But then there's me, worshiping the Earth, being a pot calling the kettle black. Lol. I guess I would ask each religion's most knowledgeable person to explain how everything works, top to bottom.

Elia I wouldn't mind that either I to always wanted the gods to return to earth. To me it would a good experience also maybe we could ask them unanswered questions we have if there willing to answer them. How much more knowledge people could gain with the return of the gods can not be said but I'm sure we as people would gain alot more physically and mentally if they did return. So honestly my answer is I hope they do return one day and I hope I'm here to witness it. It would be so awesome!!!!!!

Although I cheated right now I asked my mom since she is full christain. She told me long ago when Lucifer , and his brother God lived in heaven together at one point. Lucifer got jelous of God and his power/influence in the world he felt as being brother of God he to should have the same power/influence on the world as God did. So out of jelousy he tried to over thrown God by doing alot of bad things, and by almost killing him once. So God banished him from the heavens sending him down below the earth for eternity becomeing the fallen angel/devil. She told me there are many stories but that is one she believes in.
Also for his brother letting people suffer it's becuase he doesn't exsist if he did he would help people not let them suffer. If he was so mighty and good as they say he is he wouldn't he heal the earth with one snap of his fingure curing it from all sickness and disease. So, my personall opinion is God = Lucifers brother is fake. So, I really can't say sorry to me it's all fake cept for Lucifer.
:(

Thank you for a response I have been trying to get reponses on satanism and the only one that responds is torey and he is off the internet at the time. I also heard god was doing letting his people go to war and fight and die but Lucifer was trying to save them. Dont know if this is true but its the story I like to believe. Oh yeah my brother is mormon and told me that story.
