I'm practicing the dragon tradition and I wanted to find names for the four dragons when calling quarters, I can't seem to find any names for good dragons, eastern of western. If anyone has suggestions I'd greatly appriciate it.

There aren't any 'official' names when invoking the four dragons of the quarters, but names that I've seen used are:
Air - a yellow male dragon called Sairys
Fire - a red male dragon called Fafnir
Water - a blue female dragon called Naelyan or Nailayan
Earth - a dark green female dragon called Grael
I hope that helps!

Merry Meet,
I also work with Dragons and the names that Ravenari has given you are the names i started with as they were the ones that i knew i could use but for me I have names given to me by the dragons to call on and in time you may get the names of Dragons to call on when casting a circle
Also one thing you can do is when you are calling the quarters and know the Dragons you are calling you can ask if they ave names that they would prefer to be called by.
I hope that helps some
Love and Blessings Ink

This is a really great idea, and can be applied across the board (i.e. with deities, animal spirits and other spirit helpers too).
Sometimes the names we are given are just a good starting place, and you may find that you strike up a personal relationship with the guardian you're calling and they will prefer a different name.

I have to agree. I've been working with Dragons a lot lately and as everyone says they can be very temperamental creatures. It took a couple meditations to even get a good look at my Dragon guide and for her to talk to me. I still haven't gotten her name. Hopefully after I've spent a little more time I'll get names so that I can call them during a casting properly.
