I chose all the above also. I draw, paint with watercolors, oils, and acrylics. I sew alot of quilts, creating one with a dragon on the top with tumbling blocks across the middle on a diagonal, and The Green Man in the lower portion. I have planned with bright colors on black background. I see it in my minds eye so I know it will come out fine.
I have also dabbled in needlepoint, crewel, cross stitch, crochet and knit, which all are a lifelong passion. I do dressmaking, baby cloths are a favorite. I've done jewelry of all sorts and bead embroidery. My grandmother was very artistic and taught me alot. The rest is self taught.

I chose other because photography is pretty much the only thing I do. I would like to learn to crochet though.

I learned to sew at about 4 yrs old on my grandmothers treddle sewing machine, I learned to crochet, needlepoint, cross stich, I draw, paint things ( not very good on canvas but I do paint other things) I design things and enjoy so many creative things...
my most recent fun thing to do.. find fairies or other statues that I can use on my alter (depending on the seasons). Usually on sale or even in very unexpected places... they dont look like much when I get them BUT I use anything from nail polish to colored permanent markers to 'change' them and make them 'mine'
A very fun thing to do IF you are 1. in a northern area, 2. an animal lover, 3. like sculpting and 4. can appreciate 'temporary' art... after a new snowfall... go out to an area you choose, make a snow sculpture of a sleeping dog or cat, maybe an owl or even a sleeping person then enjoy.

I needed a way to pick more than one. My main craft is working with ceramics. I sculpt clay (a LITTLE), mostly paint.
Needlework- most kinds.
Sewing, quilting, making historical costumes.
Crotchet. tried needle tatting. Not as easy at it looks!
Jewelry makeing.
Most of what I do gets given away. that's most of the fun for me!

The best part of making things is that you alway have a present ready to give someone.
I sell some paintings and I give a lot away.
Right now, I am working on painting a rock slab for a grave marker.
I am doing it in acrylics on slate, I am just about to varnish it and then it will be finished.
Art takes a lot of different forms.
I hope "Bill"s" spirit approves,

I really enjoy papercrafting. Making ATCs is my fave as I get to trade them with others. I also enjoy painting, some of my creations are posted on this forum. I dont actually own any of my own art though as I generally give what I make as gifts/presents. I'll give most things a try and I really enjoy working with salt dough. Its cheaper than buying clay or Fimo, lol. My favourite salt dough creation was a green man and I used pumpkin seeds to create a layered leafy effect around his face. It turned out so much better than I had expected it too.

Greetings Ravenwitch,
I have been trying out making ATC's lately. I really like the whole concept of them.
Would'nt it be cool to have a Magicka swap?
We could all do a witchy theme, there must be a million different themes and ideas pertaining to witches, that could be done.
Wheel of the Year
Altars
Tarot
Astrology
Shamanism etc.
After I finish my "Marker" project , I might try a few ATC's.

Greetins Ravenwitch,
I will let you know when I have an ATC nice enough to send you.
By the way, yesterday I bought a book called, "Artist Trading Card Workshop", by Bernie Berlin. There are a lot of awesome ideas in it.
There are also a lot of good websites.
So many fun things to do, so little time.

As you can probably guess by my name I'm into patchwork and quilting, but I also do cross stitch and I make bobbin lace. I've also dabbled in dress making and when my daughter was younger, and not so fashion concious I used to make all her clothes.

After working with computers and technology for many years, I realized that I needed to do something with my hands, something creative that did not involve any electronic gadgets. Through a series of "coincidences", I discovered woodcarving - or perhaps I was directed to woodcarving.
Now that I have made the initial investment in tools and have had some basic training in how to use them, I have started on my carving projects. What I am discovering is the act of "meditating with a hammer"; I.E, focusing on what you are doing rather than what you are thinking. Any craft work is an act of meditation when your mental process is focused on the moment.
I still do not devote as much time to carving as I would like to but I am sure that someday my skill will improve and the available time will increase. It is a pasttime that can become a passion.

I like photomanipulation and photography, sometimes drawing/painting though I'm not that good (I just can't draw people). Um, I made my robe, but I'm pretty bad at sewing (no sewing machine ><). I like cross stitch, jewelry making/beading too. Also I like making things with wood, not sure it qualifies as carving, and stained glass (my mom does it and I'v made a few things too, it's fun) Wish there were more than one option to chose from...
