It has been a long journey to reach you!! Suddenly everything fell into place and I found this wonderful group! So I look forward to learning from you and getting to know you, to offering and receiving support and encouragement. Yesterday I performed my first ceremony: Winter Solstice and the co-occurring Total Eclipse of the Moon. I was thinking, the portents are so powerful, I MUST perform a ceremony, and my research for that led me here. Surprisingly, or perhaps not, everything I needed for my altar was scattered around my house. I had been gathering or growing these little treasures for years! Down to the turkey feather....and I did a Ritual Bath before the ceremony,which felt wonderful, of course! Truly a beautiful beginning at an auspicious moment in time. Thank you.

I was like you when I first started on my path. It was amazing what stuff I found lying round the house or things i'd kept since I was young for "just in case it came in handy" and now I know why I had them.

Merry Meet, Mel, and Elia and Laila!!! Yes Mel, signed up for Wicca Revealed and have asked for a mentor...looking forward. Right now I am researching Book of Shadows, I am looking for a leather bound one, fairly large. I think a fountain pen or feather quill would be lovely to write with...I learned to write as a child in school with an ink fountain pen (!) and I thought...well, wouldn't that be a nice thing to go back to? I have images of myself at a tall desk, with candles, penning in my Book of Shadows. Different colors of ink, wouldn't that be cool? I think I have an old ink fountain and writing desk around here somewhere (really)  _________________ I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
