I can't remember where I saw this but recently I saw this book "goth craft by raven digitalis", I was just wondering if anyone had read it and what they thought about it. I was also wondering if anyone had read or had opinions on "course in astral travel and dreams by beezlebub" as it was given to me by a friend.
I find it hard to trust myself to make my own opinions and can be a bit guilble at times so I'd be really interested to know if these books are worth reading. :-)

The Digitalis book is actually on my list of books to have in my collection, and it's for superficial reasons...I love the cover =D But I have not read it

Like FlameQuill, the Goth Craft is on my list. As a member of the Gothic subculture it's something I'd be interested in as far as seeing how this author is entwining said subculture and The Craft and what I find to be legitimate or not. :) I have to admit, it's not surprising that someone wrote a book like this...and if it's any good I'll let you know. lol

I'm also a goth which is why it appealed to me to see how the two lifestyles come together, there seems to be quite a few similaritys anyway so it has the potential to be a really interesting read, on the other hand theres also a potential for it to be a stereotypical and empty disapointment. I googled it and some of the reviews seem quite good so its ordered and on the way, guess theres only one way to find out if its any good or not :-)

digitalis book just arrived in the post this morning, on a quick flick through it seems promising, il know more when i get around to reading it properly.
some reviews say it doesnt have that much new info, but at a glance the section on empowering makeup such as lipstick to help you speak clearly, and a bit on music in ritual seemed quite interesting and a tad different, it also touches on things like an azrael meditation and death energy along with keeping a ballance between light and dark polarities.

plus it is a very pretty layout on the inside aswell!

after reading this post,I got it from the library....not the BEST thing in the world I have ever read through BUT it certainly does give ALL kinds of goth examples, which I think is pretty cool since I am not goth myself,I am learning something new :)
