Not anytime soon cuz I don't have enough saved from my casino winnings,,,,and if I got one I'd like the color one,,,,EDIT: Okay - hubby said I could, so I broke down and bought a Kindle Touch without 3G Got it on 6/13 & so far I'm liking it better and better as I get to know how it works! And its already got a nice library of reference books

Well I finally did it and up graded my mac to snow leopard,. So I down loaded then free Kindle app for the Mac. My screen reader does not work on the kindle but I set the screen to white letters on a black background and I set the letters to bold and made them about 1 1/2 inches tall. Even with my poor vision I can see these letters. My first book I added was Scott Cunningham a guide for the solitary practitioner. It is the first book i have read that was not on tape or cd in ten years. It felt great. Can anyone suggest more good books for the Kindle.. blessings Rose

Thank you for the links to the free books on amazon, I got them both. I was hoping I could find more ofm scott cunningham books on amazon. As i finifh these books i will look for more suggestions. Physicle reading goes slowly when its been so long, I use to read really fast now a chapter at a time is my limit.

you will find many links to free e-books that doctorspock has been posting. As I discovered along the way you have to have either a UK or US account as the free links are differrent for each country but he will post both links for you - just be sure to check the one for US as I believe you are up NY way if I remember correctly ~ this may not effect you if you don't already have an account with Amazon, but since I have an account I have to purchase from the US lilnks (just FYI). Another thing to note is that not all books are free all the time and so some of the posts may have expired where it is no longer free, however the cost/content may be something of interest as it follows much of pagan teachings ~ I would keep an eye on that thread as you never know what the good doctor will find next!!
