I have made a blend a little bit like the peace oil before but with slightly different measurements. I think I used 4 drops of ylang ylang instead of three. Then I mixed it with 1/8 cup of grapeseed oil. It came out really well and the girl I made it for really loved it!

Hello! This is a fantastic posting!!! I am brand new to the world of magick. So naturally I have some questions that I hope someone here can answer for me:

1. When "creating" (if that's a word you would use) the oils should they be prepared at my alter?

2. Should I say a prayer before each or just when I begin my work or even at all?

3. Should any spell work be involved in preparing the oils? If not how do I go about setting my intentions forth when creating each for its specific purpose? Or is it as simple as combining the ingredients?

4. How do I go about finding the different oils named. Are most of them common things that I would be able to find in a healthfood store or something? Or do I buy online or find a metaphsyical shop?

5. Aside from combining the ingredients what would you say the steps to creating a successful oil/incense are?

I more thing... should these oils be made at night? Or can they be prepared during the day?
