Hello hello, I've been wondering. What is the difference between essential oils and fragrance? While I know there's quite a difference, I'm specifically wondering if fragrance oils hold any benefits to them.
I've just had a ton of fragrance oils stocked up over here and haven't figured out what I want to do with them. I'll probably end up selling some but if I can be making things of my own that have any benefits to them I'd love to play with what I have. Otherwise if all they're good for is to smell good I'll probably just try selling them all.
I just recently ordered some Honeysuckle essential oil to try making my own shampoo with. I'm hoping that turns out. Are there any good recipes on here to do with your oils? *scurries off to look*

Basically, the way I understand it is that essential oils are always extracted from a flower, fruit, tree or plant. Fragrance oils can be made with either with an essential oil or a synthetic and are diluted with a carrier oil. Probably you need to read the ingredient label very carefully to find out if there are any synthetics when using fragrance oil for magical purposes.

Thanks for the help guys :3
One more question, I was looking for sweet almond oil at the store to use as a base and my hubby found Almond oil in the cooking oils. Can this be used as a base oil as well? Wasn't sure if it was the same thing or not just with different labels.
