Ive been thinking about this for awhile actually. As i dont know what to use. Ive really been focusing on meditation and learning before trying out spells. If you could reply with why you use that id be very thankful

Usually a lighter but I have used a stove to light a candle, not during a ritual obviously.

Elia, I do the same... One match and then used the candle.
Just seems the right way to do it.

I use a lighter that I bought specifically for ritual/spell use.

I've always used a match and often I do it like Elia.

I use anything that comes to mind especailly when the candle gets super low. There are poeple who I know who fear to use a lighter, and matches as well. You know you can use the lighter that is meant to be used to light a fire place or a grill. I also have a specail wood thingy that is meant to light candle's when the pit starts geting lower.

I have a lighter that I use to light a match with to light my candles because most of them are in jars (due to my oxygen use). If I have a lot of candles going then I will use another candle.

I use a match and then use that candle to light everything else... But the only reason for that is that I can't work lighters!

Does anyone ever use a oil lamp?? I have when doing Tarot readings (at my Tarot Table) plus candles in the background.

Interesting idea Elia, I may have to try that I can see where it would add to the ambiance and general feel of the reading as well! Oh back on the subject....I use a lighter, seems I can never find matches!!

I used whatever I had handy-lighter, matches, fireplace matches for candles in the tall glass holder when they get low, and even my gas range in a pinch.

I thought about getting an oil lamp for general light. When I do a ritual or spell I light a few candles on my altar and do my work on a different table because I like being in an actual circle. In my case I'd put the lamp on my altar.

I have and use our oil lamp ~ I'm about half blind as it is, so the more light the better I can see
