What should I do and not do in the rituals?

I would strongly suggest you learn the answers to those questions before declaring yourself a priestess and starting a coven. Have you completed the two Wicca courses available here? They will certainly help.

I have to agree, if you dont know how or what to do, how are you going to lead a group.
Id suggest you organize a circle, or study group rather than a coven, everyone can learn together and later when the group is confidante in its knowledge you can start a coven. The leaders should rotate, so no one person is always in control. ~ Elia

I am in agreement as well, although I am new to my path and new to rituals and spell casting. At this point I would not want to form a coven, (not interested anyway), nor would I want to appoint myself as the High Priestess of said coven. As Elia suggested, a simple circle of friends with whom you can talk and share and learn together would be the best right now, IMO.
Not trying to put you down, or burst your bubble, but if you don't know the answers to those questions just yet, I think that you should do as suggested, and take the courses here they truly do help, I am only in Wicca Revealed, and do not consider myself Wiccan, but it has helped tremendously with my knowledge of the craft and choosing my path. Plus you also have a circle of people here in the forum that are very caring and willing to help and answer questions anytime!

Totally agree with what everyone has said here. To become a priestess takes much work, study and training. There's a forum here that suggests books to read to help you on your way.
Before reaching the level of priestess you should:
Know what tradition you follow.
Have an understanding of the elements and elementals.
How to cast a circle and, of course, banish it
How to visualize
How to evoke deity
A bit about the history of Witchcraft/Wicca
How to effectively cast spells
How to perform an effective ritual
Have an understanding of the Wheel of the Year
etc. etc.
I think the idea of a circle of friends to help each other learn is a wonderful idea and you can help each other learn and grow.

I concur with all the peeps above! I'd also like to add that to become Priest or Priestess In my opinion you should really know yourself. You'd be surprised as to how many people take that for granted and think they know who they are, what they are capable of etc.. But really take time to understand yourself, what you believe, why you believe and also do you have what it takes to lead, listen, guide and so forth.. All of the responsibility it will require, all the energy are you able at this present moment to handle and when you can answer yes to those things, start to do more work on who you are and boom when the time is right and you can get all of the above in order then consider creating a Coven if that is your calling. It takes A LOT of work and it's not just a lot of work by YOU but by the people in your coven.

Ok, I am good. I know the not dos and dodos, lol....doodoo.... I had to cancel my first one..lastt ime i had ppl over, we were talking on how we should do things, figuring out the dos and don'ts...we have it all figured out. So I am good. One of the don'ts I learned: Ouija boards are evil....

I wanna help my two buddies get married the pagan way. and they don't know anyone that can do a handfasting for them, so I figure why not me? I wanna be a priestess anyways so I can definitely say it would be worth the while for me.
