Hello

I was hoping someone could help me please. I have a good friend that lives in America and she and her family have been found by her extremely abusive ex husband. So far he only has their phone number but she is very scared that it will only be a matter of time before he finds them and her new husband.

I would very much like to perform a protection spell to keep her and her family safe, does anyone have any ideas please?

I have to agree with Silver and Elia here - changing her phone number and having it unlisted is important; and the law is her best protection in this sort of thing.

Spells from the internet can work if you tweak them to your specific needs, but again, I agree with Elia that it would be better if your friend could do her own spell - she's the one with all the emotion concerning the situation. I hope she will be safe.

my first thought would have been to get a gun - or a dog - or both. I personally do not trust things like restraining orders because they are just a peace of paper. However a good peace of paper to have in case said dog or gun come into play. Anyway I agree that one has to come up with their own spells as there are so many different kinds of magick and everyone has different ethical standards when it comes to magick. Although roughly speaking I personally would create a witches bottle use some rune magick to protect the house and some blood magick for binding but again that is up to the individual.

I totally agree with Elia violence is a horrible and brings so much negative energy into a location. About the phone number she should change it also another thing she can do is have the law get involved you know he can go to jail for invading a persons personal life/stalking and then she won't have to worry as much. Also I perfer not to go this far she can change her appearance, name, and move to another location in other words a identity change. You can also find a protection spell that seems right for you but honestly I can not help with that for I'm still practicing my meditation and cleansing spells for my second lesson. Hope your friend stay's safe.

Thanks for your help guys. All of your suggestions were done when this first happened. Numbers changes, emails changed, and the police and her son's school have been notified. But of course no-one can do anything until he gives them reason... She is in the very early stages of learning about Wicca and unsure of what to do, which was part of the reason that she asked if I could help.

We have possibly found a way to stop him though as he owes alot of money towards their son's upbringing and medical so certain legal people would be very interested to know his whereabouts... Lets hope it is enough to put him off.
